Grinding paste SFP 250 g grit SIC 600 250 g for fine grinding and grinding of valves & bearings Oily grinding pastes with sharp-edged SiC grains for use in very fine grinding work, e.g. when rusting valve seats, shaft bearings and as preparation for polishing with felt polishing tools and lapping discs. Materials that can be machined: Aluminum Bronze Stainless steel (INOX) Hardened, tempered steels above 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC) Cast steel Cobalt base alloys Copper Brass Nickel base alloys (e.g. Inconel and Hastelloy) Steels with a hardness > 54 HRC Steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC) Thermoplastics Titanium Titanium alloys Fibre-reinforced duroplastics (GRP, CRP)
