Nord-Lock steel wedge lock washers, NL16 - Nord-Lock wedge lock washers securely tighten bolted connections - Wedge lock washers are suitable for many different tasks and challenges. This product is suitable for all general applications. Rings with an enlarged outer diameter (SP) have the same inner diameter as the standard rings. They are specially developed for applications with oversized or slotted holes and for use on soft contact surfaces such as aluminum or copper. The ring is hardened through and through so that it is harder than the bolt and the contact surface. It has been treated with Delta Protekt®, a surface coating that provides very strong protection against corrosion. Nord-Lock washers are suitable for all common bolt classes such as 4.8, 5.6, 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9.
