User benefits: Compact fast charger for 9.6V to 18V Lithium-ion and Ni-MH slide batteries. The DC18RC features a cooling fan and Active 3 Controls. This means that during charging, the charging voltage, charging current, and temperature are monitored. The cooling system blows cooling air into the battery. This prevents high temperatures in the battery, extending battery life and accelerating the charging process. In combination with charging adapter ADP04, this charger also allows you to charge Ni-Cd and Ni-MH stick and block batteries from 7.2V to 18V. Not suitable for charging 10.8V / 12V Max batteries and batteries ending with the letter G.
