LOCTITE® 270 is a high strength threadlocker designed to maximize efficiency in tightening and sealing bolts, nuts and studs to prevent loosening due to vibration. The product is intended for permanently securing assemblies that must not come loose. It is suitable for all metals, including passive materials such as stainless steel, aluminum and surface-treated materials. It has a proven tolerance to light contamination by industrial oils, such as engine oil, anti-corrosion oil and cutting oil. Disassembly is possible by heating to 300 °C.
