LOCTITE® 242 is a universal methacrylate-based threadlocker with medium strength and medium viscosity. This product has fast setting times of 5, 15 and 20 minutes for steel, brass and stainless steel respectively. LOCTITE 242 is thixotropic to prevent migration after application and is intended for attachments requiring normal disassembly using standard hand tools.
