You use the Smoke M for short videos, portrait photography, product photography, food photography and creative special effects. A small cloud of smoke immediately adds extra atmosphere to your image. Think of a misty effect around a perfume bottle, a dramatic background for a portrait or a striking transition in a video.

The smoke machine works with special smoke fluid. This liquid turns into smoke as soon as the Smoke M heats up. The liquid consists of VG and PG. VG stands for vegetable glycerin and provides a fuller smoke. PG stands for propylene glycol and helps the liquid to evaporate properly. Only use smoke fluid specifically intended for the Smoke M. E-cigarette fluid, standard smoke machine fluid and fluids from other brands damage the reservoir or electronics.

The transparent reservoir contains a maximum of 22 ml of smoke fluid. Before each use, check whether there is still enough liquid in it. Top up when the level is low. This prevents the smoke machine from operating without liquid and from becoming too hot.

When using it for the first time, first charge the Smoke M. Then fill the reservoir, place it in the smoke machine and let the liquid rest for about 3 minutes. Then add a few drops of smoke fluid to the smoke outlet for a quick start. Then turn on the Smoke M and press the button twice to start or stop the smoke.

The built-in battery has a capacity of 2550 mAh. This means that you use the smoke machine for up to about 25 minutes before charging is necessary. The Smoke M emits smoke for a maximum of 3 minutes in a row and then automatically stops for 2 seconds. It switches itself off after every 10 minutes, so you can check the fluid level. Then you turn it on again.

The status lights make operation extra clear. Red light means the battery is low or the smoke machine is charging. Green light means the battery is full. If the green light is on while the Smoke M is not working properly, check whether the reservoir is properly secured and restart the smoke machine. Blue light means it is on or producing smoke.

The Smoke M measures 267 x 123 x 111 mm and weighs approximately 1235 g without smoke fluid. It fits comfortably in your hand and takes up little space in your bag or equipment case. During charging, the housing sometimes becomes slightly warm. That's normal.

Please note: the reservoir and smoke outlet become warm during use. Do not touch the reservoir while the Smoke M is emitting smoke and let it cool down before adding fluid. Never direct smoke towards your eyes, skin, fire, sparks or flammable materials. Do not inhale the smoke directly, keep the smoke machine away from children and take into account smoke detectors in the room.
