Description
This 75 Ω coaxial cable is designed for connecting television, radio, or cable modem equipment to a coaxial wall outlet in DVB-C installations. The cable features quadruple shielding (120 dB, Class A), a 100% copper inner conductor (CU), and an integrated ferrite core for additional suppression of high-frequency interference. Thanks to its high shielding value, the cable is suitable for installations in environments with increased electromagnetic stress, including protection against LTE and 5G ingress.

What do 120 dB and Class A mean?
The shielding effectiveness of 120 dB indicates how well the cable is protected against external electromagnetic interference. The higher the dB value, the less external ingress can affect the signal.
Class A is a European classification according to EN standards for coaxial cables and indicates that the cable meets requirements for high shielding within the frequency range used for television and data signals. Class A cables are suitable for environments with strong external signals, such as urban areas with active 4G and 5G transmission masts.
Application
Suitable for digital television (DVB-C), radio, and cable internet in home installations. The quadruple shielding and ferrite core limit signal pollution at higher frequencies and reduce interference from external equipment.
Explanation of terms used
DVB Digital television standard for cable, satellite, and terrestrial. Suitable for receiving Full HD (1080p), Ultra HD 4K, and 8K via DVB installations; the final resolution depends on the supplied signal.
Impedance (75 Ω) The characteristic resistance of television and cable installations. Components within one installation must have the same impedance to prevent reflections and signal loss.
Quadruple shielding Consists of multiple layers of foil and braided sheath. This construction increases the shielding value and reduces ingress of external signals.
Ferrite core A magnetic filter that suppresses high-frequency interference signals (common-mode interference) on the cable. The ferrite increases the impedance for unwanted interference without affecting the desired television signal.
100% copper conductor A solid copper inner conductor offers lower resistance, better signal conduction, and higher mechanical reliability than CCS or CCA versions.
General explanation of coaxial cable
A coaxial cable consists of a central inner conductor, a dielectric, multiple shielding layers, and a protective outer jacket. This construction ensures controlled signal conduction with minimal ingress and low attenuation. 75 Ω cables are used for television and cable installations; 50 Ω cables are used for RF and broadcasting applications.
