Goose Chase Rules The Goose Chase rules are simple. The game starts by choosing a goose and then everyone rolling one of the dice. The player who rolls the highest number of points gets to start. Players then take turns rolling both dice. The number rolled indicates how many spaces the goose may move forward. If you roll a 4 and a 5 on your first turn, you can go directly to square 53. If you roll a 3 and a 6 on your first turn, you can place your goose on square 26. If you land on the image of the goose during the game, you may move forward again by the number of points rolled on the board. Do you land on one of the special squares? Follow the specific Goose Chase rules that apply to these squares. If another player's goose is already on a square, stay on your old square. The Goose Chase game ends when one player manages to land exactly on square 63 in the last roll. If this does not happen and you have rolled more than the required number, you must count back from square 63. If you then land on a square with a goose, you move back again by the number of pips rolled.
