The Trio II is an easy, self-installed energy display that shows the current gas and electricity consumption in clear colors. This way you can always see how much energy your household uses.  The monitor shows 100% accurate current consumption data, but also historical information (consumption spread over the day, week, month and year). With the Trio II you can map energy consumption. By gaining insight into your consumption, you can reduce your energy consumption. For example, you can see how much energy is consumed by devices that are turned on when you are not using them.  Better insight will help you use your energy smarter, saving you an average of 6.9% on gas and 2.2% on electricity! In the long term, this can amount to tens of euros per year.   Using the energy display The energy monitor has an intuitive touchscreen that is easy to operate. It shows understandable figures to show what happens to your energy consumption.  You can enter your energy rate in the Trio II to easily keep an eye on your budget. If you have solar panels, the Trio II immediately shows when and how much electricity you supply back to the grid.  Privacy The energy monitor is an independently functioning product that does not require an internet connection. This gives 100% certainty that your detailed energy consumption data remains indoors. If desired, updates to the software can be received via a (temporarily) activated WiFi module.  Installation The Trio is only suitable for smart energy meters. You can simply click the sensor into the P1 port of the smart meter. Is your meter suitable? The Geo Trio II works with all smart meters with a P1 port that have been installed from 2014, type DSMR 4.0 and higher. So far this is (D)SMR 4.0, 4.2, 4.3 and 5.0.    The Geo gets its power from the smart meter. So there is no need for a socket in the meter cupboard. If necessary, the WiFi module can be used to obtain firmware updates. Solar panels If you have solar panels, the Trio II calculates your energy consumption in real-time with the energy yield of the panels. It is therefore not possible to view the precise yield of your solar panels separately.
