The Flir Scion OTM266 is a heat imaging camera that is specially designed for observations in complete darkness, bad weather conditions and the most challenging landscapes. Unique to this thermal camera is the very large field of vision of 24x18 degrees. With the Scion OTM (Outdoor Thermal Monocular) you are ready to capture every meeting with humans or animals.

You can now have the most high-tech options, such as the new 640x512 (12µm) Boson detector, three observation modes, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and endless photo and video recordings. The 12µm Boson detector gives you a superior viewing experience, in which real-time (60Hz) Pixels of multiple recordings are merged. This makes the image resolution no less than quadruently! You can enlarge the standard optical magnification of 1x by means of a digital zoom 2x, 4x and 8x.

Observation modes

The OTM266 has three observatimodi. This way you can do the standard Scouting mode use, to observe as you are used to. A new function is the Lock-Span mode. With this you filter unwanted temperatures that you do not want. Think of very cold or warm temperatures, or bright objects such as the air and fire. With this, only objects get a color on which you want to focus; Filtered objects are displayed in black. The third mode is Picture-in-picture. You use this option to further zoom in on a certain object in the screen (2x), without losing the rest of the field of vision.
