FLIR Breach PTQ136 Thermal Imaging Camera

The FLIR Breach PTQ136 is undoubtedly the most compact thermal imaging camera you've ever seen. This thermal monocular is suitable for (hands-free) observations in complete darkness and adverse weather conditions, both at short and long distances. Whether it's people camouflaged in the woods or people walking through restricted areas in complete darkness, the FLIR Breach PTQ136 makes everything and everyone instantly visible, without you being visible yourself.

The thermal imaging camera features high-tech options, displaying images at 60Hz on a large HD LCD screen (1280x960 pixels). The 320x256 detector converts images to 640x480 resolution in real time using advanced algorithms. The FLIR Breach includes 7 color palettes, an integrated magnetic compass, and endless photo and video recording. The 12µm BOSON detector allows you to detect people up to 450 meters away. Furthermore, the camera focuses from a minimum distance of 25 centimeters, ensuring excellent image quality even up close. This HD display also allows you to zoom in up to 4x, ensuring you never miss a moment on the spot.

Using the optional Goggle Kit, you can use the Breach hands-free by simply wearing it on your head or attaching it to a helmet. Its light weight (210 grams) and compact size (only 14 cm long) allow you to use the camera completely hands-free. The eyepiece fits gently but seamlessly against your eye. You can power the camera with one included CR123 battery, or you can connect an external power bank. Extra-powerful CR123 batteries are also available.

Application

Unlike night vision devices, a thermal imaging camera doesn't use infrared light, but infrared heat. This means you, as the user, will never "light up" because there's no visible beam visible to others. This makes the camera ideal for airsoft, security, and tactical applications, as well as general nature observation. You can easily transfer all your recordings to another device using the included USB-C cable. To attach the thermal imaging camera to a helmet or headgear, use the rail on the right side of the body.
