Service life: To extend their service life, it's important to bed in the brake pads after installation. Gently pull the brake lever while riding, ensuring the pads contact the brake rotor. Ride for about 100 meters at 25 kilometers per hour (15.5 mph), then brake harder at the end to reduce your speed to about 5 kilometers per hour (3 mph). Then slowly increase your speed while braking lightly. Repeat this process 10 to 12 times.
