Description

Elvedes 6906MC carbon disc brake pads are suitable for Avid DB1/DB3 and SRAM DB5/Level/Level T/Level TL disc brakes. These pads offer high braking power and are suitable for both wet and dry conditions. They are ideal for use on e-bikes.

  • Brand: Elvedes
  • Model: 6906MC
  • Compatible with: Avid DB1/DB3 and SRAM DB5/Level/Level T/Level TL
  • Color: Black

These brake pads are available in various compounds, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. The organic compound is ideal for dry conditions and suitable for MTB, trekking, and road bikes. The sintered compound is ideal for wet conditions and suitable for MTB. The metallic carbon (semi-metallic) compound is ideal for both wet and dry conditions and suitable for e-bikes.

After installing the new brake pads, it's important to bed them in for longer life. This can be done by lightly pulling the brake lever while riding, ensuring the pads make contact with the brake rotor. Ride for about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour (15 mph), then brake more firmly at the end to reduce the speed to about 5 kilometers per hour (3 mph). Then, gradually increase your speed while braking lightly. Repeat this process 10 to 12 times to ensure the new brake pads are properly bedded in.
