Special textile medium that can be mixed with other paints in a 1:1 ratio so that the paint can be used as textile paint on light-colored fabrics. After heat-setting with an iron, the item can be washed at 40°C. How to transform your water-based paint into textile paint: If the textile paint needs to be (almost) opaque, then the paint should be as well. For example, mix the textile medium and opaque Plus Color hobby paint in a 1:1 ratio per color. Make small portions, as the paint offers good coverage. After decorating your textile piece, let it dry before heat-setting it with an iron. Don't forget to place a sheet of baking paper over the painted area. If you want a more transparent and watercolor-like look, the textile medium can be mixed with water in a 1:1 ratio and can also be mixed with a thin, liquid watercolor paint. Depending on the desired intensity of the paint, drops of the liquid watercolor paint can be added to the medium. Add more paint for a more powerful translucent look. If desired, you can moisten the piece of textile so that the colors flow freely across the surface and blend into each other to achieve the desired 'watercolor look'. Tip: don't forget to place a piece of plastic or similar inside textile pieces with a front and back, so that the paint doesn't bleed through to the back of the piece.
