Description

The Continental Pure Contact, with its Vectran Breaker and PolyX Breaker technology, offers the highest puncture protection (level 8). The lightweight construction with foldable aramid bead wires saves 700 grams per set and combines low rolling resistance with excellent grip, on both dry and wet surfaces. Thanks to high-quality rubber and a new tread pattern, the lifespan is extended. The tire is also sustainable and made from materials such as rice husk ash, recycled components, rapeseed oil, and natural rubber. Vectran Breaker: a feather-light and strong puncture protection layer made from a spun high-tech fiber. PolyX Breaker: extremely strong polyester fibers (also used in car tires) provide excellent protection against punctures due to a high weave density.
