Filter medium for sand filter pumps in the form of finely ground glass. Comfortpool glass beads are made from 100% locally recycled glass.
- Glass beads clean pool water more thoroughly and efficiently than filter sand.
- Glass beads filter dirt particles down to 5 to 10 microns, while glass only filters down to about 30 microns.
- Glass has a longer life than filter sand.
- Cleaning the filter bed via backwashing is also less frequent and uses less water.
- Optimal filtration
- Suitable for any type of filter pump
- Can be used with fresh water, salt water and chlorine
- Grain size: 0.4 - 0.8 mm
