The Big Apple is a comfortable bicycle tire that launched the balloon bike trend ten years ago. This tire allows you to cycle comfortably without expensive suspension technology. The air cushion tires act as natural suspension, giving you full suspension. At a pressure of approximately 2 bar, the balloon bike rolls wonderfully smoothly. The Big Apple has a width of 37 mm, which is comparable to a standard tire. However, a standard tire needs to be inflated to a maximum of 4 bar to roll smoothly. With the Big Apple, you get the same smooth rolling without the hard pressure. This tire is suitable for mountain bikes and has a net weight of 740 grams. The maximum pressure is 70 PSI (5 bar). The tire features Schwalbe puncture protection, reducing the risk of flats. The tire has an HS430 tread pattern and an Endurance compound.
