Bayer Seresto flea collar for dogs

Seresto 4.50 g + 2.03 g collar for dogs > 8 kg.

Containing the active ingredients: imidacloprid and flumethrin.

• Treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides) for 7 to 8 months.
• Effectiveness against fleas starts immediately after applying the collar.
• Protects against the development of flea larvae in the immediate environment of the animal for 8 months.
• Seresto can be used as part of a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).
• The product has persistent acaricidal (lethal) efficacy against tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Dermacentor reticulatus) and repellent (anti-feeding) efficacy against tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus) for 8 months.
• It is effective against larvae, nymphs and adult ticks.
• Ticks already on the dog before treatment may not be killed within 48 hours of applying the collar, and may remain attached and visible. Therefore, it is recommended to remove ticks already on the dog at the time of application.
• Prevention of new tick infestations starts within two days of applying the collar.
• Treatment of biting/sucking lice infestations (Trichodectes canis).
• Ideally, the collar should be fitted before the start of the flea or tick season.

Contraindications:

• Do not treat puppies less than 7 weeks of age.
• Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.

Dosage:

• Cutaneous use.
• One collar per animal to be fitted around the neck.
• Dogs over 8 kg receive one Seresto collar measuring 70 cm long.
• For external use only.
