Basic game codenames

The two rival secret services know the secret identity of the 25 spies. Their teammates only know these spies by their codename.

Both teams compete with each other and try to be the first to make contact with their spies. Each head of the secret service gives clues by mentioning one word that relates to multiple words on the table. Their teammates try to guess the words of their color without pointing out opponents' spies. And of course, everyone wants to stay away from the assassin.

A unique word game where players must find associations with words. Try to come up with a clue with one word that relates to multiple words on the table, so your teammates can quickly score many points. High replayability: 400 different words, only 25 of which are used in a game, making the associations players can make constantly different! A game for two teams (of unlimited size), but also includes rules for 2 or 3 players. A true Dutch version! Not a 1-to-1 translation of the International version, but words that are unique to the Netherlands and Belgium (place names, culture, food and drink), words that have multiple meanings in Dutch, and words that appeal to the imagination in our language or fit into different categories.

Codenames is suitable for 2-8 players aged 10 and up.
