You can use this adapter for stereo applications. A stereo 6.35mm Jack has 3 poles, separated by 2 black rings on the metal part of the connector. A mono 6.35mm Jack connector has 2 poles, separated by 1 black ring on the metal part of the connector. If your device has 2 separate 6.35mm Jack connections for the left and right channels, you should use mono 6.35mm Jack connectors (1 for each channel) to transmit a stereo signal.
