Shelf

This shelf is designed for placing equipment and accessories without their own rack mounting within a 19-inch wall cabinet and occupies 2 height units (2U). The shelf is mounted on the 19-inch profile rails and is designed as a perforated shelf, allowing air to circulate freely through the surface. The design is intended for an organized and stable arrangement of wall cabinets. Specifications • Product type: shelf • Design: perforated • Application: wall cabinets, patch cabinets, data cabinets • Rack size: 19 inch • Height units: 2U • Load capacity: 15 kg • Material: metal • Mounting: 19-inch profile rails • Standard: IEC 60297 Function The shelf is used to place equipment, peripherals, or documentation that cannot be directly mounted in the rack. The perforated design supports air circulation within the cabinet and limits heat buildup around placed components. Why this is applied Wall cabinets regularly use components that do not support standard rack mounting. With a shelf, these devices can be placed stably, accessibly, and neatly. The perforated construction contributes to manageable airflow and supports consistent cooling of the cabinet contents. Explanation of standard The IEC 60297 standard describes the mechanical dimensions for 19-inch racks and rack components. This standardization allows the shelf to be correctly mounted in wall cabinets and profile rails that are designed according to this standard, with fixed width and height dimensions.
