Description
This jack cable is used as a patch cable for connecting audio equipment with a 6.35 mm jack connector. The cable transmits analog audio signals between devices such as mixers, amplifiers, instruments, effects units, and audio interfaces. The cable is equipped with two 6.35 mm male jack connectors. These connectors have two insulation rings on the plug, making them TRS connectors. This allows two audio signals to be transmitted via one cable, for example, a left and a right channel. The cable has a robust construction with a solid inner conductor and braided shielding. This construction helps to reduce interference and supports stable signal transmission in various audio setups.

Explanation
6.35 mm jack: a standard jack connector widely used in professional audio equipment such as guitars, amplifiers, mixers, and studio equipment.
TRS connector: a jack connector with three contacts (Tip, Ring, and Sleeve). The two insulation rings on the plug indicate that it is a TRS connector, allowing stereo audio signals to be transmitted.
Patch cable: an audio cable used to connect audio equipment, for example, in studio racks or on a mixing console.
Braided shielding: a metal braided shield around the conductor that helps reduce electromagnetic interference and protects signal quality.
Applications
• Connection between audio equipment in studio setups
• Connecting mixers and audio interfaces
• Use with instruments and amplifiers
• Live audio and PA systems
Types of jack connectors
6.3 mm jack: a larger jack connector primarily used in professional audio equipment, musical instruments, and studio installations.
3.5 mm jack: a smaller jack connector widely used in consumer electronics such as smartphones, laptops, and portable audio devices.
2.5 mm jack: a compact jack connector used in headsets, walkie-talkies, and specialized audio equipment.
Explanation of jack configurations
TS (Tip-Sleeve): a jack configuration with two contact points for mono audio signals.
TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve): a jack configuration with three contact points for stereo audio signals.
TRRS (Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve): a jack configuration with four contact points that can transmit a microphone signal in addition to stereo audio.
Explanation of audio signals
Stereo audio: an audio system that uses two separate channels: a left and a right channel.
Mono audio: an audio system that uses only one audio channel.
Explanation of certifications
CE: indicates that the product complies with European directives for safety, health, and environmental protection.
RoHS: European directive that restricts the use of hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, and cadmium.
REACH: European regulation for the registration and control of chemical substances in products.
WEEE: directive for the collection and recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
