Description

This ferrite core is designed to reduce electromagnetic interference on cables. This ferrite filter can suppress high-frequency interference on data cables, power cables, and signal cables, for example. The ferrite core is placed around a cable and helps absorb high-frequency interference that can be transmitted via the cable. This can improve the signal quality of connected equipment and reduce interference. This type of ferrite filter is often used in applications where stable signal transmission is important, such as in data communication, measuring equipment, or other electronic installations. The ferrite core is suitable for round cables with a diameter of up to approximately 3.5 mm. The core is made of nickel-zinc ferrite and is housed in a plastic casing, allowing it to be easily attached to a cable. Specifications • Type Ferrite core / ferrite filter • Brand Delock • Suitable for cable diameter up to approx. 3.5 mm • Impedance 85 Ohm @ 25 MHz • Impedance 175 Ohm @ 100 MHz • Core material nickel-zinc ferrite • Housing material plastic • Colour black • Dimensions approx. 25.2 × 13.0 × 11.8 mm • Quantity 2 pieces Explanation of terms used Ferrite core A ferrite core is used to reduce electromagnetic interference on cables by absorbing high-frequency signals. Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) EMI is unwanted electromagnetic interference that can affect signals on cables and electronic equipment. Impedance Impedance indicates the electrical resistance of a component to alternating currents and signals and is often expressed in Ohms. High-frequency interference High-frequency interference refers to unwanted high-frequency signals that can be transmitted via cables. Ask a question about the product
