Description
This ALLTEQ jack cable is used for connecting audio equipment with a 3.5 mm audio jack. The cable transmits analog audio signals between devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, amplifiers, car radios, and Hi-Fi systems via an AUX connection. The cable features 3.5 mm male jack connectors at both ends and supports stereo audio. This allows two audio signals to be transmitted via one cable, for example, a left and right channel. The cable can be used for connecting various multimedia and audio devices. The cable has a slimline design with a flexible braided cable jacket. At the connectors, a strain relief is provided that protects the transition between the cable and the plug from bending and pulling. The connectors are equipped with gold-plated contacts for a stable electrical connection.

Explanation
3.5 mm jack: A commonly used audio connector for headphones, AUX connections, and portable audio equipment. This connection is used on smartphones, tablets, laptops, car radios, and various audio devices.
TRS connector: A jack connector with three contacts (Tip, Ring, and Sleeve). This allows two audio signals to be transmitted, enabling stereo audio. TRS can also be used for balanced audio signals in professional audio equipment.
Strain relief: A reinforced transition between the cable and connector that prevents the cable from bending or breaking directly at the plug. This extends the cable's lifespan.
Braided cable jacket: A braided protective layer around the cable that provides extra mechanical protection. This jacket reduces wear, increases tensile strength, and makes the cable more resistant to bending and kinking.
Gold-plated contacts: A thin layer of gold on the contact surface of the connector that reduces oxidation and ensures a stable electrical connection.
Applications
• Connection between smartphone and car radio (AUX)
• Connecting a laptop or tablet to speakers or amplifiers
• Use with Hi-Fi systems and multimedia equipment
• Connection between portable audio devices and speakers
Types of jack connectors
6.3 mm jack: A larger jack connector primarily used with professional audio equipment, musical instruments, and studio installations.
3.5 mm jack: A smaller jack connector widely used in consumer electronics such as smartphones, laptops, tablets, and portable audio devices.
2.5 mm jack: A compact jack connector used in headsets, walkie-talkies, and specialized audio equipment.
Explanation of jack configurations
TS (Tip-Sleeve): A jack configuration with two contact points. The tip transmits the audio signal and the sleeve acts as ground. This configuration is used for mono audio signals.
TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve): A jack configuration with three contact points. This allows two audio signals to be transmitted, for example, a left and right channel for stereo audio. TRS can also be used for balanced audio signals in professional audio equipment.
TRRS (Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve): A jack configuration with four contact points. This type of connection allows a microphone signal to be transmitted via the same connector in addition to stereo audio, for example, in headsets.
Explanation of audio signals
Balanced audio: A method of audio transmission using two signal wires and a ground. Interference picked up along the way is canceled out at the receiver, resulting in a more stable audio signal with less noise.
Unbalanced audio: A form of audio transmission using one signal wire and one ground wire. This type of connection is commonly used in consumer devices such as smartphones, laptops, and Hi-Fi systems.
Stereo audio: An audio system that uses two separate channels: a left channel and a right channel. This creates a spatial sound image.
Mono audio: An audio system that uses only one audio channel and sends the same signal to all speakers.
Explanation of certifications
CE: Indicates that the product complies with European directives for safety, health, and environmental protection.
RoHS: European directive that restricts the use of hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and certain flame retardants in electronic products.
REACH: European regulation for the registration, evaluation, and control of chemical substances used in products.
WEEE: Directive for the collection and recycling of electrical and electronic equipment to reduce environmental damage from electronic waste.
