Description

This HAMA jack cable is used for connecting audio equipment with a 3.5 mm audio jack. The cable transmits analog audio signals between devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, amplifiers, car radios, and speakers via an AUX connection. The cable features a 3.5 mm male jack connector and a 3.5 mm male right-angle jack connector. This allows the cable to be connected even when the audio jack is difficult to access or when there is limited space behind a device. The cable supports stereo audio, allowing two audio signals to be transmitted via one cable, for example, a left and right channel. The flexible cable construction makes the cable suitable for daily use with various audio devices. Specifications Brand: HAMA Cable type: Jack audio cable Audio type: Analog audio connection Connector 1: 3.5 mm jack male right-angle Connector 2: 3.5 mm jack male Connector type: TRS (3-pole) Mono / stereo: stereo Cable type: Round cable Cable length: 0.5 meters Color: Black Certifications: CE, RoHS, REACH, WEEE Explanation 3.5 mm jack: A commonly used audio connector for headphones, AUX connections, and portable audio equipment. This connection is used on smartphones, tablets, laptops, car radios, and various audio devices. Right-angle jack connector: A connector where the cable exits the plug at a 90-degree angle. This allows the cable to be connected in hard-to-reach places and reduces the risk of cable breakage at the connection. TRS connector: A jack connector with three contacts (Tip, Ring, and Sleeve). This allows two audio signals to be transmitted, enabling stereo audio. Cable jacket: The outer jacket of the cable protects the internal conductors from wear and mechanical stress and ensures flexibility during use. Applications • Connection between smartphone and audio system • Connecting tablet or laptop to speakers or amplifiers • Use with car radios with AUX connection • Connection between portable audio devices and Hi-Fi systems Types of jack connectors 6.3 mm jack: A larger jack connector primarily used with professional audio equipment, musical instruments, and studio installations. 3.5 mm jack: A smaller jack connector widely used in consumer electronics such as smartphones, laptops, tablets, and portable audio devices. 2.5 mm jack: A compact jack connector used in headsets, walkie-talkies, and specialized audio equipment. Explanation of jack configurations TS (Tip-Sleeve): A jack configuration with two contact points. The tip transmits the audio signal and the sleeve acts as ground. This configuration is used for mono audio signals. TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve): A jack configuration with three contact points. This allows two audio signals to be transmitted, for example, a left and right channel for stereo audio. TRRS (Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve): A jack configuration with four contact points. This type of connection allows a microphone signal to be transmitted via the same connector in addition to stereo audio. Explanation of audio signals Balanced audio: A method of audio transmission using two signal wires and a ground. Interference picked up along the way is canceled out at the receiver, resulting in a more stable audio signal. Unbalanced audio: A form of audio transmission using one signal wire and one ground wire. This type of connection is commonly used in consumer electronics. Stereo audio: An audio system using two separate channels: a left and a right channel. Mono audio: An audio system using only one audio channel. Explanation of certifications CE: Indicates that the product complies with European directives for safety, health, and environmental protection. RoHS: European directive restricting the use of hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, and cadmium. REACH: European regulation for the registration and control of chemical substances in products. WEEE: Directive for the collection and recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
