Abi 12-port patch panel

This is a CAT6 patch panel for centrally terminating and patching 12 network connections within a compact network setup with a height of 1U. The patch panel is equipped with 12 RJ45 connections and a robust metal housing with electromagnetic shielding for stable signal transmission. This patch panel is used to neatly organize network cables and patch them to active network equipment such as switches or routers. The LSA connection technique allows wires to be connected without soldering, screwing, or stripping. Mounting is suitable for 10-inch mini/desktop setups and can be performed as wall or desktop mounting with the included mounting hardware. The patch panel is electrically and structurally designed according to CAT6 specifications. This means that the connectors used, internal connections, and shielding are tuned for a maximum signal bandwidth of 250 MHz. Cable categories such as CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6a, CAT7, and CAT8 can be mechanically connected because they use the same RJ45 connector form and wire gauge. However, for categories higher than CAT6, the extra bandwidth and shielding of those cables are not fully utilized, as the patch panel itself determines the technical upper limit. For optimal performance, the maximum certified support therefore extends to CAT6. The shielded RJ45 ports are integrated into a high-quality metal housing with electromagnetic shielding. The panel features an "Easy Open" construction, allowing the housing to be opened without screws or tools. This simplifies installation, inspection, and re-termination of cabling. The shielding is intended to limit electromagnetic interference (EMI) from external electrical sources, thereby reducing signal disruptions and supporting a more stable network connection. This patch panel is suitable for passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) transmission within a CAT6 network installation. The panel itself does not supply power and contains no active components, but it does not interrupt the PoE voltage with correct termination and cabling.
