Allteq network switch This black Allteq network switch has 5 network ports. These ports feature an RJ45 female connector. All ports operate at a speed of 10/100/1000 Mbps and therefore support Fast Ethernet. The switch works with full/half duplex mode and auto-negotiation. Furthermore, Auto-MDI/MDI-X is supported. The housing is made of robust plastic.
Usage If you only need a few extra ports, you can opt for this simple switch. Standard network cable can be used to connect this type of equipment. Pay attention to the speed that needs to be supported. For 1 Gb/s, a minimum of Cat5e cable must be used. Keep in mind that connecting the network switch also occupies a port on your router.

Additional information You can also choose to power certain connected devices via the network cable. This option is called PoE (Power over Ethernet). There is now a successor to this, PoE+. This Allteq adapter does not have PoE. This switch comes with a power adapter. The warranty is 5 years.
