All 5 RJ45 connections support auto MDI/MDIX, meaning you don't have to worry about using a straight-through or crossover cable when connecting the network cable to the ports of this network device. Auto-negotiation on each port senses the link speed of a network device (10 or 100Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance. You can use the TP-LINK switch right out of the box, and it requires no further configuration. Thanks to its energy-saving green technology, the TL-SF1005D is also an economical solution, allowing you to significantly save up to 70% on power consumption. The maximum power consumption is 2.2 watts (220V/50Hz) and with compact dimensions of 103.5 x 70 x 22 mm (wxdxh), the TL-SF1005D network switch takes up little space. High performance The TP-LINK TL-SF1005D network switch has a maximum transfer speed of 0.1 Gbit/s and is characterized by non-blocking switching architecture, meaning it forwards and filters packets at full (wire) speed.
