This Digitus device makes it possible to combine and separate data and power over a single network cable according to the IEEE 802.3af protocol. The set is suitable for applications where power is not directly available at the connected device. The injector merges network data and DC power onto the network cable. At the other end, the splitter separates the signal back into RJ45 data and power for the connected device. This makes the set suitable for IP cameras, access points, and other network equipment with low power requirements, among other things. The set supports Fast Ethernet with speeds up to 100 Mbps. The output voltage up to 24 V depends on the power supply used and the connected equipment.
