The GX Eagle Transmission Derailleur is a lesser version of nothing. The new SRAM GX Eagle Derailleur delivers everything you can expect from an Eagle Transmission derailleur and much more. The derailleur has a new battery position and a reconfigured gearbox to better protect itself from impacts. To maintain the crisp shifting and striking appearance throughout its life, riders can replace both the protective backing plates and the two-piece outer link, making this the most repairable derailleur SRAM has ever made. It also features the first ever derailleur cage and clutch that requires no tools to replace parts. With a steel inner cage providing even more robustness, the derailleur is made for real-world riders. Like all Eagle Transmission derailleurs, this derailleur features a unique hangerless interface, which mounts around the wheel axle itself and makes direct contact with the cassette without the need for a hanger. The new transmission derailleurs have the same intuitive linking and adjustment procedure as our Eagle AXS derailleurs.
