The 5 kg substrate is a terrarium bedding that is entirely natural and fine-grained, without dyes or additives. This original African substrate consists of homogeneously fine-grained desert sand, a perfect bedding for reptiles from desert regions. This sand creates a very natural habitat and stimulates the animals' natural behavior, such as digging and egg-laying. The sand has good thermal conductivity and is therefore also suitable for use with heating mats, heating cables, and other UTH. The substrate is easy to clean by scooping out feces.
