The 20 cm wheel is a large exercise wheel for mice and dwarf hamsters, designed for minimal spinal strain and quiet movement. Many animals put too much strain on their spine while running in an exercise wheel because they have to run in a hunched position in a wheel that is too small. Due to the generous size of this wheel, this is no longer an issue. The spine is minimally strained because the animal can run much straighter, and the closed running surface ensures safe running. The wheel is made of plastic for easy cleaning and runs smoothly and whisper-quietly, which is ideal as mice and hamsters are nocturnal animals. The wheel can be placed upright in the cage with its stand, or attached to the bars.
