Product description Developed to make the difficult job of cutting the hair of the cow's tail in dairy cows easier. Removing cow tail hairs that are contaminated with dung and urine is important for optimal hygiene of the livestock, the milk and the milker. For optimal milk quality, the cow's tail hairs must be shaved twice a year. The Tailwell2 fits in any cordless drill (min. 14 Volt) with approximately 1,250 rpm. Tailwell2 works quietly and provides a smooth result. It only takes max. 4 seconds per tail and can easily be done during milking. The principle is that an outer blade revolves around an inner blade, so there is no risk of injury to animals or humans. A built-in collar makes it possible to relieve the arms during breaks. Regular lubrication, as with any shaver, is important and should be done between every 30th and 50th shave. Pre-cutting the hair is possible even with heavy contamination. no tangles necessary. Depending on the degree of contamination, 100 to 200 tails can be shaved per battery charge. Sharpening the blades depends on the degree of contamination (after 1000 to 2000 shaves) and can be done easily and without problems, even by inexperienced users, with the included abrasive paste.
