Description
With the Byomic Dobsonian Telescope SkyDiver 102/640, you'll have a superb telescope at home for observing the moon and planets. Because it can also observe nebulae and galaxies, the telescope is ideal for both children and beginning astronomers, as well as amateurs.
- Dobsonian mount
- The Byomic SkyDiver 102/640 is equipped with a Dobsonian mount, making it easy to move the telescope azimuthally (horizontally and vertically). Because the Dobsonian telescope only needs to be placed on a flat surface, it requires minimal space and can start observing immediately. The Dobsonian mount also ensures quick storage and minimal space requirements. The Byomic SkyDiver 102/640 features a built-in handle, making it easy to carry and move.
- Application Byomic Dobson Telescope SkyDiver 102/640
- The Byomic Dobsonian Telescope SkyDiver 102/640 is a powerful yet simple telescope. As soon as the telescope is placed on a flat surface, it's ready to use. The Dobsonian mount allows the telescope to easily move left and right, as well as up and down. Once the correct position is achieved, it can be locked in place with the convenient locking knobs.
- Eyepieces
- Two eyepieces are included, one with a 20mm focal length and one with a 6mm focal length, achieving magnifications of 32x and 107x, respectively. When using the included Barlow lens, magnifications of up to 321x can be achieved.
It's recommended to start with a low magnification and work your way up. Starting with a high magnification (6mm eyepiece) right away will usually result in unsatisfactory results.
When using an eyepiece with a large focal length and therefore low magnification, the eye will capture more light, resulting in a clearer image than when using high magnification with a smaller focal length.
Using the red dot finderscope, the telescope can easily be aimed at a celestial object. When looking through the red dot and you move the telescope so that the red dot is visible on a celestial object, you will also see it when looking through the eyepiece.
