With LED lighting, 95% of the energy is converted into light. This means that only a small part is converted into heat, so energy consumption remains significant. An LED lamp can therefore produce as much light as an incandescent or halogen lamp with only a small part of the current. In addition, LED lighting does not get hot, so the chance of burning out is much smaller than with an incandescent lamp. LED can also withstand shocks and vibrations better. LED lighting can therefore last up to 50,000 hours. A big difference compared to the incandescent lamp with a maximum of 1000 burning hours and a halogen lamp of 3500 burning hours.
