You can easily connect the RL-160 with a 1/4 inch male thread, and with the extra adapter, you can even slide it onto your camera's hot shoe. Six AA batteries (not included) provide power, but with the included adapter cable, you can also connect the light to a universal power adapter (DC 6-17 Volt, also not included).
