Description

Item number: 8719324414647 View all SpeedComfort products > View more: Radiator fan > SpeedComfort Radiator Fan MONO - Complete Set A standard radiator heats the cold air in the room. The warm air then rises naturally, creating space for colder air near the radiator. This means the warm air isn't distributed evenly throughout the room. The SpeedComfort radiator fan solves this problem by blowing air into the room faster and evenly. This allows the room to warm up faster. This allows you to set the temperature a few degrees lower, quickly saving on your gas bill! You place the fan between the two plates at the bottom of the radiator. The magnets keep the fan securely in place. Then you connect the fan. As soon as the radiator reaches 35 degrees or warmer, the fan switches on. At temperatures below 25 degrees, the fan switches off again. Therefore, the fan is never on when the room isn't heated. This fan can also be used with convectors. In that case, you place the fan on the convector with feet. The SpeedComfort housing is made of bio-based material. Contents of this set: 1x SpeedComfort (34 cm L x 7 cm W x 2.5 H) 1x Adapter 12V, cord length 1.80 m 1x External thermostat switch with magnetic attachment, cord length 60 cm Product specifications Radiator fan - Mono - set Item description Radiator fan - Mono - set Item number 8719324414647 Version Mono Number of fans 3 Color White Product type Fans Radiator type Double plate, Double plate small, Single plate, Convector Number of units Mono (1) Country of origin Netherlands Manual SpeedComfort.pdf Suitable for all radiators and convectors, thanks to the built-in accessories: Magnets and brackets are built into the fan and can be adjusted to the desired width and radiator type. Three radiator fans are suitable for radiators and convectors with a width of 120 cm. How many SpeedComforts do I need? One SpeedComfort moves approximately 30 m³ of air per hour. Usually, it's sufficient to circulate all the air in a room once an hour. For a small (bed)room (approx. 12 m²), one SpeedComfort is sufficient. For a larger room, you'll need several. Calculation example to determine your needs: A living room measuring 5 x 8 x 3 m (W x L x H) has a volume of 120 m³. You'll need four SpeedComforts, and you can choose a Trio set with an extension kit or two Duo sets. When does the SpeedComfort switch on? SpeedComforts switch on at a fixed temperature of 33°C. They switch off again at 25°C. They switch off again at 25°C. Is the SpeedComfort suitable for all radiators? SpeedComforts can be used universally on most radiators and convectors. Older cast iron finned radiators are less suitable for SpeedComforts. You can place them under them with your feet on the floor or hang them with cable ties. Not exactly fun, but it works. What are the dimensions of the SpeedComfort? Length - 34 cm Width - 7 cm Height - 2.3 cm How much noise does the SpeedComfort make? The noise level of a SpeedComfort is less than 20 dB(A). That's quieter than rustling leaves. Still find the noise annoying? Contact us. We also have an adapter with a slightly lower voltage. This makes the fan run slightly slower, which also reduces the noise. How much electricity does the SpeedComfort use? The fans are extremely energy-efficient. Based on 1200 operating hours per year, a SpeedComfort consumes less than €0.32 per year. The adapter is lossless. When the SpeedComforts are not in use, the adapter doesn't consume any electricity. (For comparison: if you leave a 'normal' adapter plugged in for a year, you'll save about €12 on electricity.) How do I attach a SpeedComfort? Attaching a SpeedComfort is very easy thanks to the magnetic sliders on the top. With a minor adjustment, they fit most radiators or convectors and simply click into place. Then, attach the temperature sensor, also with magnets, near the hot water supply on the radiator (usually near the on/off switch). Now plug the adapter into the wall socket. For radiators with two or three radiator plates and a distance of at least 7 cm between the plates, attach the SpeedComforts with the magnetic sliders as they come in the packaging. The magnets will automatically click onto the radiator's radiator plate. If the distance between the radiator plates is less than 7 cm, you can hang the SpeedComforts under the radiator. Pull the magnetic sliders out of the rail, turn them upwards with the magnets, and push them back in. Now you can attach the SpeedComforts under the radiator. For a radiator with a single plate, also reverse the magnetic sliders, only now all four magnets are on one side. If you have a convector or convector niche, you'll find four feet on the underside of the SpeedComforts that you can press into the designated holes. Environmental information about Radiator Fan - Mono - set. The radiator delivers more power, allowing the water in the central heating system to be heated to 60 degrees Celsius. If the system is also hydraulically balanced, you can save up to 30% on your gas bill. And that significantly reduces CO2 emissions. Milieu Centraal calculated that we would emit 4.5 million tons less CO2 annually if 70% of households used them.
