Special features: PROFTEC chipboard screws, galvanized with a flat countersunk head and TX drive, are of professional quality for tradesmen who demand high standards from a good screw. The design of this screw was improved in 2023 and meets the highest quality requirements of the tradesman. Thanks to the coarse thread, the screws drive in quickly. A transparent wax layer has been applied to the screws, making them very easy to drive in and work with. And thanks to the extra sharp and pointed screw tip, they grip directly into the wood. The tip of the PROFTEC screw also features a pre-drilling 'cutting tip'; this allows you to work in most cases without pre-drilling, without splitting the wood. The 3.5 – 4.0 – 4.5 – 5.0mm screws can all be driven in with the same TX-20 bit. This means you don't have to change bits when screwing with different screw sizes. Sharp milling ribs under the head ensure a neat finish when countersinking the screw head into the wood. All screws from 40mm length are designed as partial-thread variants, with a helix on the shank; for optimal functioning in wood-to-wood connections. The 'free' unthreaded part of the PROFTEC screw ensures that the second piece of wood is pulled extra tightly onto the first piece, making the wood joint much stronger. The screws are packed in a handy plastic bucket, as a bulk package. The bucket, made of recycled plastic, is convenient to use and has a handle for lifting. This saves a lot of cardboard waste when you are going to use larger quantities of screws. There are also 2 bits included in the bucket.
