PCIe 6-pin (f) - 2x PCIe 6+2-pin (m) power adapter Use this cable adapter to connect a 6-pin PCI Express connector from your internal PC power supply to a PCI Express card with 6-pin and/or 8-pin connectors. Ensure your PC power supply provides sufficient power for the total required power of the PCI Express card. PCIe 6-pin and PCIe 8-pin connectors The PCIe connectors, with PCIe being the abbreviation for PCI Express, are used for additional power to the PCI Express card. For this purpose, a 6-pin and an 8-pin PCIe connector are used. The difference is that the 6-pin connector provides 75 W and the 8-pin connector provides 150 W. Heavy-duty PCIe cards, such as graphics cards, can have multiple PCIe connectors and collectively provide up to 300 W. Always check if your power supply provides sufficient power. The 8-pin PCIe connector looks very similar to the EPS 12V connector, but it is not the same and will not fit the port.
