This Fast Ethernet media converter is an active network device that converts a copper-based Ethernet connection to a fiber optic connection and vice versa. The device features one RJ45 10/100Base-TX port and one SC duplex 100Base-FX port for single-mode fiber optics. The maximum transmission speed is 100 Mb/s with a maximum distance of up to 20 km.
