The anti-slip function of the material is guaranteed, even when wet or contaminated with oil or grease. This anti-slip insert cannot be separated from the pedal due to a special, waterproof technology. The UNION SANDBLOCK® pedals have an extra-large anti-slip insert (thus more direct contact with the cyclist's shoe) and are specially designed for use on E-Bikes. The advantages of this high-quality SANDBLOCK® anti-slip insert are: A very good anti-slip function, much better than that of the usual TPR (rubber) insert Significantly more wear resistance compared to that of the usual TPR (rubber) insert The anti-slip function remains optimal, even when the surface of the material is wet or contaminated with oil or grease The SANDBLOCK® anti-slip surfaces are highly wear-resistant, water-resistant, and firmly connected to the robust polypropylene cage of the pedal via a new patented technology.
