Kool-Stop Disc Pads are made from organic materials that are merged and bound with the help of a resin. The composition does contain small amounts of metal to improve the brake formula, but the pads are largely organic. The term semi-metallic can also be used. Our tests have shown that our disc brake blocks are friendly to the rotor and offer a high brake performance during the lifetime of the block.
