Description
This GNSS antenna is designed for receiving satellite signals for navigation systems such as GPS and GALILEO. The antenna can be used with GNSS receivers, car radios, and vehicle multimedia systems featuring a FAKRA C connection. The antenna is equipped with a FAKRA C jack (female) connector with blue color coding (RAL 5005). The mechanical coding ensures that the connector can only be connected to a compatible FAKRA C port. The antenna supports satellite systems such as GPS L1 and GALILEO E1 at a frequency of 1575.42 MHz. Thanks to its integrated amplifier, the antenna offers an antenna gain of 27 dBi, allowing for better reception of weak satellite signals. The antenna features a magnetic mounting base, making it easy to attach to metal surfaces. The housing is made of ABS plastic and has an IP67 protection rating, allowing the antenna to be temporarily used outside the vehicle. The antenna comes with an RG-174/U coaxial cable approximately 3 meters long. This cable has an attenuation of about 1.1 dB per meter at 1500 MHz. This is a collective name for satellite navigation systems such as GPS and GALILEO. GPS L1 GPS L1 is one of the main frequency bands used by GPS satellites for navigation. The frequency is 1575.42 MHz. GALILEO E1 GALILEO E1 is the European satellite navigation frequency, similar to GPS L1, used for civilian navigation applications. IP67 IP67 is a protection rating indicating that a device is completely dust-tight and temporarily waterproof. The product can remain submerged in water for up to approximately 30 minutes at a maximum depth of 1 meter. RG-174 RG-174 is a thin coaxial cable widely used for RF signals and antenna connections in communication and navigation systems. FAKRA C FAKRA C is a variant of the FAKRA coaxial connector with blue color coding. This connector is often used for GPS antennas and other in-vehicle RF applications. FAKRA FAKRA connectors are coaxial RF connectors used for radio frequency connections. The connector is based on the SMB coaxial standard but features a plastic housing with mechanical and color coding. FAKRA types • FAKRA A – black – RF connection / radio • FAKRA B – cream – GSM / telematics • FAKRA C – blue – GPS antenna • FAKRA D – burgundy / purple – satellite radio • FAKRA E – green – GSM / LTE • FAKRA F – brown – RF communication • FAKRA G – grey – radio / RF signal • FAKRA H – violet – video / camera systems • FAKRA I – beige – radio antenna • FAKRA K – yellow / curry – RF communication • FAKRA L – red – RF communication • FAKRA M – orange – digital radio / DAB • FAKRA Z – water blue – universal key coding Ask a product question
