The dirt sucked in by the EasyClear is filtered from the pond water using a fine-mesh filter mat, after which it flows into the Kaldnes biomedia. This special Kaldnes biomedia provides a very large surface area for adhesion and a continuous supply of bacteria, which are essential for breaking down harmful dirt particles and converting them into useful substances for the pond.
