Place a piece of kitchen paper under the iron to collect the liquid wax. 3. Tilt the iron slightly forward to ensure that the wax cannot enter the steam openings of the iron sole. 4. Rub the dirty parts of the iron sole with the stick. Do this with circular movements for optimal results. 5. Remove any residue of deposits with a clean, dry cloth. 6.
