The converter is therefore equipped with various connections and needs to be powered by an external power source. A mini USB to USB A cable is included for power. The converter can then be used by connecting an HDMI cable to the designated input port. This allows the image and sound signal to be supplied. For the output, there are three female RCA connections. The red and white connections are for transmitting audio and the yellow port is for video. Usage By using the Allteq HDMI to composite converter, it is possible, for example, to connect an older device with a composite connection to an HDMI cable. You can, for example, connect an outdated DVD player or game console to a television. Power is supplied via the mini USB connection on the converter. You connect the included cable to this, which is then connected to a USB A port. This can be with an adapter for a wall socket or to a USB A connection on, for example, the television. An adapter to connect the cable to mains power is not included.
