HDMI™ Audio Extractor – HDMI™ 1.4 High Speed – 4K@30Hz This HDMI™ audio extractor allows you to split the audio signal from an HDMI™ signal. The video signal is passed through unchanged to a TV or monitor, while the audio signal is simultaneously made available digitally via S/PDIF (TOSLINK) or analog via a 3.5 mm stereo connection. Operation The HDMI™ signal from the source is fed into the extractor. The video signal is passed through to the HDMI™ output without modification. The audio signal is tapped in parallel and output via the digital and analog audio outputs. When the 3.5 mm stereo output is used, the device automatically switches to 2.0 stereo and the digital S/PDIF output is deactivated. HDMI version HDMI™ 1.4 High Speed. Audio Support for common digital audio formats in 2.0 and 5.1 configurations, including LPCM, Dolby Digital, and DTS. HDMI audio is passed through unchanged to the HDMI™ output (pass-through). Audio output behavior When using the 3.5 mm stereo output, 2.0 stereo is automatically selected, and the S/PDIF output is automatically deactivated.
