Recommended age 6 years and up. History Domino originally is a tile-based game with pieces showing 1 to 6 dots per half. Each half has its own 'number'. The object of this game is to connect the pieces so that the numbers match and form a line. Various versions of this game have been made in the past. Another way to play with dominoes is to set them up upright, one after the other. If one tile falls, it causes the next one to fall, which in turn taps the next, and so on. This is called the domino effect. Later, game manufacturers capitalized on this and developed the current version of domino, offering many colours, extra sets, and accessories. There was also previously Domino Day, where teams competed to set the world record for the most dominoes toppled in one run. Entire artworks were often created around the theme of that year.
