Threaded rod DIN 976-1A hot-dip galvanized steel 8.8 1 meter oversized. For hot-dip galvanized threaded rods with OVERSIZED threads, the zinc layer is applied ON the normal thread. After galvanizing, this is no longer ISO-metrically appropriate, but thicker: so-called OVERSIZE. The corresponding hexagon nuts with OVERSIZED thread are tapped oversize AFTER galvanizing in accordance with ISO 965-5, so that they fit perfectly on these threaded rods.
