Important note: Do not place a hot barbecue, fire bowl, fire pit, or patio heater directly on the mat. PVC cannot withstand such extreme heat! The mat can only withstand high temperatures for 15 seconds, so remove any hot wood, charcoal, or ash from the mat immediately if it falls onto it.
